GRIP. RIP.

GIVING BACK

Growing up, baseball wasn’t just a sport to me; it was a way of life. From the moment I first picked up a bat, I was hooked. The crack of the ball meeting the bat, the adrenaline of a close game, and the camaraderie of teammates became central to who I am. Now, as an adult reflecting on the journey that has brought me here, I feel a deep desire to give back to the game that has given me so much. More importantly, I want to give back to the kids in my hometown and beyond who share that same passion but might lack the resources or opportunities to fully realize their potential.

Hometown pride runs deep in my veins. Anoka isn’t just where I grew up; it’s the community that shaped me. Here, I learned not just about baseball but also about resilience, teamwork, and hard work. It’s where I discovered the value of mentors who believed in me and pushed me to dream big. Now it’s my turn to step into that role for the next generation. I’m committed to helping kids in my hometown gain access to better training, and mentorship, so they too can experience the joy of baseball and the life lessons it brings.

But my dream doesn’t stop at the borders of Anoka. Baseball is a universal language, one that teaches discipline, perseverance, and the power of community. I want to extend my reach to other communities as well, bringing my knowledge and love for the game to kids everywhere. Whether it’s running clinics, providing lessons, or partnering with organizations dedicated to youth sports, I want to inspire kids to aim higher—both on and off the field.

Baseball has meant more to me than I can express. It’s taught me about setting goals, facing challenges, and celebrating victories. But most importantly, it’s shown me the importance of lifting others up. My mission is clear: to help the next generation fall in love with the game while equipping them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in baseball and in life.

There’s no better way to honor my love for baseball than by sharing it. And there’s no better place to start than with the kids who remind me of my younger self, dreaming big in a small town, with a glove in hand and a heart full of hope.
